Background

Research depth shaped by production systems work

My work is informed by both academic research and large-scale production experience. I care about questions that remain interesting after you add real workloads, operational constraints, and failure handling.

Education

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, University of Connecticut, 2024 to present
  • M.S. in Integrated Circuit Engineering, Hefei University of Technology
  • B.S. in Integrated Circuit Design and Integrated System, Hefei University of Technology

Industry

Before starting my Ph.D., I spent four years at Baidu as a software architect and backend engineer, working on large-scale backend and AI service infrastructure.

  • Large-scale web services and search infrastructure
  • Access control and monitoring for production LLM services
  • Streaming pipelines and performance-sensitive distributed systems
  • Career progression from T3 to T5

Recognition

  • Predoctoral Fellowship, University of Connecticut
  • Baidu Pride Special Award
  • National Scholarship

Technical toolkit

My systems work frequently draws on C++, Python, Golang, distributed systems, LLM serving stacks, eBPF, RDMA, CXL, and memory-centric runtime design.
